approximately 30 miles east of the city of Pittsburgh. Our service area

A PA licensed, professional land surveyor with over 25 years
experience, Barry E. Sakal provides both residential and commercial

History
Barry E. Sakal is a lifelong area resident, having graduated from
Hempfield High School. He afterwards attended Penn State University,
earning a degree in Surveying in 1979. Barry's work history includes
experience with a land surveying firm in Harper's Ferry, West Virginia
and an engineering firm in Connellsville, PA.
Barry E. Sakal Land Surveying was founded in 1985 and has enjoyed
steady growth and continuing success for over 22 years.
Barry Sakal was one of the first surveying services to adopt computer
technology (1985) and Electronic Data Collection (1990), including the
use of Geographical Information Systems, C&G software, and orthometric
aerial photography, and he remains in the vanguard of surveying
technology with his early adoption of Global Positioning Systems (1997).
By maintaining a lead in the latest technologies, Barry E. Sakal Land
Surveying has been able to both increase the accuracy of its property
surveys and maintain an increasingly efficient operation, always
